Education

In Moosonee there are three school boards administering two elementary schools and and one secondary school.  There is also a college campus and a distant learning centre serving the educational needs of Moosonee and communities along the James Bay coast.

Public School:  Moosonee Public School under the Moosonee District School Area Board

Separate School: Bishop Belleau School under the Roman Catholic Separate School Board

Secondary School: Northern Lights Secondary School under the James Bay Lowlands Secondary School Board

Post Secondary: Northern College (JBEC Campus)
